IVF Success Rates and the Cost of IVF Outlined

IVF is one of the best and effective processes to curb infertility. If any couple is unable to get pregnant after regular intercourse for around a year, it is high time to consult the doctor and get yourself diagnosed. Both male and female need to go for the diagnosis in order to find the root cause of infertility. With the success rate of IVF being very high, more and more couples are now turning towards IVF as a brilliant solution.

Though the success rate depends on a number of factors but still few attempts of IVF can result into success. A lot depends on the way IVF process is carried out in your case, the health of your sperms and eggs, age factor and many other things. Your doctor will be able to guide you in the proper direction after studying your case and seeing how IVF is showing the results. Following the advice of the doctor is the best thing to get the desired outcomes.

IVF success rate

As already discussed above that IVF caters to several aspects. First and foremost being the age. As you tend to get older the chances go down. It is because the body becomes weak and it is difficult to have a safe and healthy pregnancy. If you consume too much of alcohol or smoke then too the chances are quite low. Unhealthy lifestyle, stress and being overweight are other factors that influence the rate of success. That is why it is really important to prepare yourself for the process in advance. This can definitely boost your chances and you will be able to achieve the results too.

Cost of the IVF process

IVF is definitely a costly affair and it becomes difficult for the couples to avail the same. If you are using your own sperms and eggs, then the cost is a bit low but in case you are getting it from the donor the cost can go up. Usually the cost of one cycle of IVF varies from $10, 000 to $12, 000 and can increase depending on the other treatments integrated with your IVF. So a better way out is to consult your infertility expert regarding the amount of money that you will have to invest in the process. In this way you can plan your budget and expect the right outcomes you have been looking for.

Nowadays there are a lot of infertility clinics which run different kinds of IVF programs to help the couples. You can take help from them as you get a lot of financial help. You can even compare the cost of the process at different clinics and then choose the best one. So this is how you can go about finding the infertility centre which is reputed, has a good team of qualified doctors and is able to perform the process in the right manner. Hope IVF works for you and get successful to have your baby. Do try IVF as there is no better choice to extend your family.

Choosing Between IUI and IVF

IVF and IUI are two different ways through which a woman gets pregnant. It entirely depends on the health of the couple as which treatment will be best suited for them. But the guidance of the doctor is very necessary in this concern as they will be able to guide you in a better way. They can tell you about both the options in detail, the results of the treatment and how useful can it be in your case. So all this really helps as couples find the right solution to their problem and are able to benefit from the same.

If you too are struggling between IVF and IUI, here is a little more information about both of them. So let us get started.

IUI – This is the process wherein the male sperms are extracted and then inserted into the woman’s uterus for fertilization. Now this timing is very crucial. That is why the sperms are transferred during the ovulation only as the chances of getting pregnant are very high in this condition. The best thing about this process is that quality sperms are transferred into the body and therefore fertilization takes place properly. In case the male partner is not healthy enough, donors can be used for the sperms. In total you can say that it is a beneficial process and works well if the eggs are in good condition and quality sperms are inserted into the body.

IVF – On the other hand, IVF is quite different from IUI. This is the process in which both eggs and sperms are allowed to fuse outside the body. The woman is given fertility drugs to boost the production of the eggs and the same is extracted and then fused in the Petri dish. The adequate atmosphere is created in the lab so that cell division takes place. When fertilization is done, the same is transferred into the uterus where it grows like a normal pregnancy. In this case both the male and female donors can be used in case the couple eggs and sperms are not healthy.

This is definitely a very good process and does wonders for infertile couples. Sometimes IVF and IUI can be alternate treatments for the couples depending on their physical health. Only correct diagnosis can help in this condition as which of the two treatments will be beneficial. It is your doctor or expert who can best tell you about the benefits of IVF and IUI. Based on their advice you can decide which one you feel makes a better option.

The ultimate motive of any couple is to have a baby and both these treatments are really good. IVF and IUI are really effective in treating infertility and that is why couples wish to give it a try at least once. So what are you waiting for, if you are unable to conceive due to one or more reasons it is high time to consult a good specialist who can tell you which option is a better one. Hope the decision proves helpful to you.

Long-Awaited Child

Long-Awaited Child is the story of my 8 year journey to have a family of my own. Our journey began with trying to fall pregnant naturally, to trying IVF several times, to seeking foster care and adoption as an option & finally to surrogacy to have our long-awaited babies. I aspire to make the journey easier for others.

In my story I cover my personal emotions knowing the only option for me to have a baby was to use a donor egg and surrogate. Dealing with infertility can be a lonely and very sad time, I hope my story helps those going through a similar journey to not feel so alone plus to consider other options and not rely on IVF as the only answer. If we had given up after IVF failed in Australia we would not have our gorgeous twins and we are so thankful for your clinic and especially our Surrogate Mother for giving us our family. In my book I have also included some information and research we had done to make our journey easier to hopefully help others.

Below is the link to my website. My book can be purchased worldwide by paperback or downloaded on e-book versions:
